DONATE
All the content produced for this channel is entirely at the generosity of the many small donations and monthly commitments we receive from ordinary Catholics for which we are enormously grateful. If this could become a permanent fixture of our work I would do it tomorrow; because we are such a small operation It doesn’t take too much for that to happen. There are so many great stories out there the regret is in spending time doing other work to make ends meet.
Please help support our latest documentary about the Oratorians in Cardiff and their Oratory ‘in formation’. Filming has already begun and we hope to have a final piece ready for July this year. It will showcase the life of the parish across the year while getting to know the many characters behind it as well as the Welsh landscape.
There are already many similar themes to its predecessor ‘A Nun’s life’. Theme’s I like; Buildings built for God being saved, people quietly getting on, prayers preceding action.
Before the arrival of the Oratorians both the church building and parish numbers were in terminal decline. Events were following a well trodden path in the UK especially for work class communities. Yet where there should have been a for sale sign the Angel of Managed Decline placed a tick in the box where all expected a cross. Now nearly eight years on the Oratorian effect has brought with it a tide of new life. What’s so special? Do those Welsh voices strike a chord with the Almighty?
To see the type of work your money is going towards watch our previous documentary ‘A Nun’s Life’ and also our many episodes about Catholic family life from all over the UK. Knowing about politics, the Vatican, the pope, the blah blah blah… isn’t going to make half as much difference to our national Catholic culture as marriages that stay together, produce and educate our children in the faith and for that to grow in strength we need parishes where we can form communities in Christ.
The documentary is going to be made, whether it puts me in debt or pays my bills is up to you.
Producing content is hard work, much like children, a great joy, but hard work. Please consider making a regular monthly donation, or one time, to support the channel and help it grow.
Alternatively you can set something up directly without a 3rd party fees.

One of nine relies completely on your support.
We are independent, original and dedicated to celebrating Catholic life in the UK.
We don’t do politics or slander or major boring stuff.
We make real life content you can trust to be Catholic.
It is your generosity that will keep this channel in the public domain, the way our faith should be.
We have no big sponsors, no institutions paying us. We only have you. 100 people paying £3 per month may not be much to each individual but it makes all the difference to us.
